About Us

Thank you for visiting our website. I'm sure you might be curious to learn a little more about us, please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Cristian Feher, food writer and head chef of Tampa Bay Chef Services. I have been a professional chef for almost a decade. My training started when I was a child in Venezuela. I was sous chef to my French and Venezuelan grandmothers who, to my good fortune, were great culinary masters in their own rights. They allowed me to take part in preparing all the meals and really sparked my love for food. My parents were also excellent cooks, and afforded me the opportunity to travel and experience many different cultures and cuisines. We later moved to one of the most ethnically diverse cities on the planet - Toronto, Canada. It was there where I grew up and honed my skills as a real chef, having graduated from chef training at George Brown College. It seems my good fortune did not end there, as I immediately secured an apprenticeship under Chef Michael Rosano at the York Downs Country Club where after two years of hard work I gained my Canadian Red Seal as a chef. Life as a chef has been filled with fire, interesting people, and good culinary adventures! My reward and motivation has always been the smile on people's faces as they enjoy my food, and so I decided to bring my culinary creations directly into your homes. For the last four years I have had the pleasure and privilege of being your personal chef. I work with a great team - Kim (office manager), Steve (assistant chef) and my professional team of servers and bartenders have helped me make this business the #1 personal chef service in the Tampa Bay area!

"Wow, what a memorable evening thanks to Chef Cristian. Sometimes we all hesitate to do something different, especially for special occasions such as a 15th wedding anniversary. But, relying only on his website, I boldly decided to give Chef Cristian a call and surprise my wife, Michelle. I gave Chef Cristian full reign on a seafood dinner for two. He arrived a few days later with a bounty of fresh seafood. (So, this is how Oprah lives, I thought.) He soon got down to business, setting the table and opening his cooler of goodies.
