Cooking
Class FAQ's (frequenly asked questions):
Q: Are
the cooking classes held in
my home?
A:
Yes, our cooking classes are held in the comfort of your home. For out
of town visitors we offer this service at your rental property, or
hotel suite.
Q: How
long does a cooking class
usually take?
A:
The
average class is about 2-3 hours in length.
Q: Can
I invite friends to come and watch?
A:
Yes, however, since we
charge per person you will incur an extra fee for every participant. If
you would like your friends to enjoy the food you've prepared, we ask
that you invite them to join you once the class is finished.
Q: What
days of the week are the cooking
classes available?
A:
We provide cooking classes Mon-Fri. Although the Saturday and Sunday
slots are mostly booked up for dinner parties and larger group classes,
couple's classes may still be provided on the weekend if we have
available slots. Please contact us for available dates.
Q: Is
there a menu for us to choose
from?
A:
Yes, when you book a
cooking class, we will send you a seasonal menu to choose from.
However, if you want to learn to cook something specific, we will be
happy to accomodate your request.
Q: What
can we expect from a cooking
class?
A: You can choose to have a
hands-on class, or sit back and enjoy a demonstration. You choose your
experience! In either case, you're going to have a deliciously
good time!
You
will enjoye a multiple-course menu
consisting of your favorite foods, or new, exciting foods you might
never have tried before. You will get to sample the appetizers during
the class, and at the end of the class you will get to enjoy your main
course. However, if you want to learn a specific food or technique, we
can custom plan the menu to your needs. We provide all the
ingredients.
Q: Will
everyone in a group cooking class get
to participate?
A:
For small groups up to 2-8
participants, we can provide a hands-on class. For bigger groups we
would do a food-TV-style cooking demonstration where the participants
get to watch, learn, interact with the chef and sample delicious foods!
NOTE:
That everyone
in a sushi class, regardless of group size, will get to learn how to
roll sushi hands-on.
Q: Can
I buy a gift certificate for
one of your cooking classes?
